Kajabi, Podia or Thinkific?

Kajabi, Podia, and Thinkific are all popular online course platforms that enable creators to build, market, and sell online courses and digital products.

  1. Course Creation and Content Management:

    • Kajabi: Kajabi offers an intuitive course builder with drag-and-drop functionality, making it easy to create and organize course content. It also supports multimedia content like videos, quizzes, surveys, downloadable PDFs, Excel files, and audio files. A "go live inside the course" feature was recently added. The ability to send automated emails upon course or module completion to encourage customers to move along in the program is an interesting feature. Options including designing a course, membership, community forum, group coaching, private coaching, or resource library.
    • Podia: Podia provides a user-friendly interface for course creation, allowing you to organize content into modules and lessons. It supports video, audio, text, and downloadable files.
    • Thinkific: Thinkific's course builder is flexible and user-friendly, enabling creators to design multimedia-rich courses with various content types. 
  2. Website and Branding:

    • Kajabi: Kajabi offers more robust website-building capabilities, allowing you to create a complete online presence with custom branding, landing pages, blog, podcast, and sales funnels. The second tier of Kajabi will allow you to remove the Kajabi branding from your newly built site.
    • Podia: Podia provides basic website customization options, enabling you to add your branding elements and customize the appearance of your course pages.
    • Thinkific: Thinkific offers website customization options, but not be as extensive as Kajabi's. 
  3. Sales and Marketing Features:

    • Kajabi: Kajabi excels in sales and marketing tools, offering features like email marketing sequences, automated funnels, upsells, paid podcasts (or free), coupon creation, "pay what you want" offer, payment plan and subscription models, and integrated payment gateways with Stripe and PayPal.
    • Podia: Podia includes essential marketing tools like email marketing, customizable sales pages, and the ability to offer coupons and upsells.
    • Thinkific: Thinkific provides marketing features like email marketing integration and customizable sales pages, but is not be as extensive as Kajabi's.
  4. Pricing:

    • Kajabi: Kajabi is known to be on the higher end of the price spectrum, but it offers an all-in-one solution with comprehensive feature including website building, blog, podcast, segmented email marketing a, customer database, payment integration, sales pages, SEO and analytics.
    • Podia: Podia's pricing is more affordable compared to Kajabi and is suitable for creators who want a simple platform. Of course, it does not have the all-in-one feature of Kajabi, so you may need other software for email marketing, blog, podcast, etc. 
    • Thinkific: Thinkific's pricing is competitive and caters to various budget levels with different features at each level. 
  5. Customer Support:

    • Kajabi: Kajabi offers 24/7 customer support via live chat, email, and phone, ensuring prompt assistance for users.
    • Podia: Podia provides excellent customer support through live chat and email during business hours on weekdays.
    • Thinkific: Thinkific offers reliable customer support through email and chat, but response times may vary.
