Three New Kajabi Features

 

#1 Weekly Pay Plan: Now you can design a Subscription Offer with three levels

  • annual
  • monthly
  • and (new) weekly

Yes, an option could be to bill "every two weeks" or "every three weeks". The customer will own the product through the end of the billing cycle if the subscription is cancelled. 

 

#2 Setup Fee: A trial period has always been available but now a "setup fee" is an option.

  • One way to use this could be to offer a discounted trial for 30 days after which time the customer begins a new billing cycle at full price.
  • The setup fee is available for subscription and payment plan options.

 

#3 Branded App: Your own branded app could now be available in the Apple and Google Play stores.

  • Currently, your customer must download the Kajabi app to access your program via mobile.
  • The new branded app, however, will have your company name and logo.
  • Because of the price $89 a month ($199 a month if you have a community), your business should already be on its way to a profitable stage prior to considering this option.

 

 

Two Actionable Copywriting Tips

  

#1 Revisit your About page.

Is it interesting or does it read like a Wikipedia bio?

Telling a story could make it more interesting. The goal of this page is not just about proving authority, "hey, I know what I'm talking about - check out my degrees and experience."

 

Instead, share your origin story. Describe how you got to the point of designing an online program. What obstacles did you have to overcome? What is it that finally brought you to this path? It's likely you used to be at the same point your target market is at right now. Your story will instantly be relatable and allow the reader to feel that they can overcome those same obstacles and get to the finish line, just like you.

Website visitors are going to find you more compelling and relatable when they find out you have similar interests and values.

Share what book you're reading this week. Talk about your fascination with restoring vintage cars. Show a photo of your largest spaghetti squash award from the 4H club.

Sharing the real you is what makes your website and message memorable.
